Key information!

Vijana Wetu mentorship programme is aimed at supporting our youth as they integrate in the UK, explore professional challenges and to enable them to realise career development plans. Clarity, communication and commitment of both the mentees and mentors are crucial elements for achieving the goals of this programme. The mentorship relationship under this Programme is expected to run for a maximum period of six months.

  • Be clear about what they intend to learn from their mentor.

  • Be teachable.

  • Actively listen to their mentor and act on it when relevant.

  • Share their progress and reflect on learnings.

  • Summarise the meetings and note points to be actioned.
